The app is an absolute train wreck. Cant scroll through any articles, videos dont play, overall usability is horrible

App wont open anymore. Deleted it and reinstalled it but no luck. Just sits there on logo. Disappointed.

Used to be a good app. Now it rarely loads and I cant scroll through the stories.

I have used many different local news apps and I am a Virginia user. Great live stream and way to stay up to date with my favourite city

KDKA is awkward , because they dont seem to know what they are going to say , but channel 11 gets to the point, Butler is a place of news , sure , but I never heard KDKA tell me about the things where I live! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to channel 11!

Wpxi is my preferred local news. But this app is terrible. I still use it anyway, but it really needs a fresh look. It has a few annoying issues that cause me to close it all the time.

The stories still will not scroll. I am on an iPhone 6s Plus. If I try to scroll down on the story I would like to read, it will not scroll, the side menu to the left opens up and I cannot go back to the page. You have to choose something on the side menu. This has been going on for probably close to a year. Every once in a while Ill download the app, or come back and check it out after an update... its literally become a joke! Because its a joke. And it doesnt seem to want to work for the other persons iPhone 6s Plus thats living in this house. I mean its not the worst thing in the world that this phone app doesnt work. Because the first 5/10 articles are about who shot who or died in a house fire. At least it reminds me why I dont want to live in Pittsburgh and try very hard not to shop there anymore. Its just become a joke.

The same news story has been at the top of my local news in this app for two straight weeks. WPXI is not maintaining this app and theyre not paying attention to it. The ads are incredibly intrusive and for questionable content. I kept getting the "youre the 10,000th user, claim your prize" ad. They also take up so much real estate that you can barely see the news feed. I noticed the ads arent in the screenshots either. Not what I would have expected from wpxi.

The same news stories are still showing from weeks ago. I agree with the majority of the reviews Ive read. Ive been using this app for some time but its gotten so bad that I felt compelled to write a review. While I didnt pay for this app they still make money from the annoying ads so we should be given a halfway decent product at least

I like the app on my iPhone so that I can watch my local news although I am working overseas. However you can not do so on the iPad!?!?

The headlines are rarely if ever updated, and there are zero breaking news alerts. Whoever is in charge of maintaining this app is not doing their job. WTAE is a crappier station, but at least they keep up with their app.

Depending on the frequency of the app updates and some of the features that get streamed to it, the app can be pretty reliable. I think they can do far better though. Good work though..theyre the only station in Pittsburgh that has a half-decent app.

I love WPXI they are my favorite station to watch and there app is just as good.

Try to watch live stream of the news it stops n then when u try to restart it wont reopen to watch it needs fixed it gets on your nerves

This is hands down the best Pittsburgh news app. Thanks for updating and I hope WPXI will continue to support it and keep the news current.

I only wanted the weather app (as shown on tv) not all the other stuff.

The only thing that would make it better: David Johnson reading it to me. Great app, easy to operate, lots of cool local content.

I have family flying in sometimes an I love the flight part of this app. And great for school closing.

Please do something about your Radar part of your app. It looks cheep. I have been using WTAE app. Great weather on there.
